A boulder fountain can be a great addition to any landscape. Boulder fountains can add the sound of running water to your landscape which can be very relaxing when placed next to a patio, entry, deck, or window. Boulder fountains do not have open water like ponds and streams which make them safe for small children. Water features often attract wildlife such as song birds to your landscape. Boulder fountains only require about a 5’ X 5’ space which makes them an excellent choice for small areas. The maintenance requirements are minimal as there is not much cleaning required and all you have to do is pull out the pump in the winter. Fountains can also be made with limestone, various natural stones, and urns.
We can also provide you with quotes for other water features such as pondless waterfalls, ponds, and streams.

There are many benefits of compost topdressing of your lawn. Topdressing with quality compost:
· Improves the structure of the soil. A well structured soil will better retain water & nutrients, along with improving the porosity, which improves the gas exchange.
· Stimulates the microbial activity in the soil which helps to break down the thatch layer.
· Adds organic matter to the root zone of the turf. The organic matter and increased porosity allows the landscape to better absorb water which reduces runoff.
· Provides nutrients in a slow release form.
· Creates a healthier, less stressed stand of turf, less stress means fewer pest problems.
The steps for topdressing include:
1. Core aeration of the lawn.
2. Spread 1/8”-1/4” quality compost over the entire turf area.
3. Apply a quality grass seed suited for the site.
4. Sweep the compost and seed into the lawn.
